At Hospital Lane Dental Clinic we have invested in a Picasso Trio low-dose cone beam CT unit.
This provides us with digital panoramic, cephalometric and dental computerised tomography (CT) facilities.
This is now accepted as the gold standard for accurate surgical planning and ensuring effective, reliable implant placement.

We welcome panoramic, cephalometric and dental CT referrals from General Dental Practitioners who would like to benefit from this valuable tool for implant/surgical treatment planning. This service is usually only available from Hospital Imaging Centres and Radiology Clinics. Hospital Lane Dental Clinic can offer this service alongside a convenient location, on-site parking, convenient appointment times and no waiting lists.
Radiographic images are either taken by Louise Auger, a dentist with a special interest in radiography and implant planning, or a dental nurse with the Certificate in Dental Radiography and the additional in-house training specific to the Picasso Trio.
Panoramic and Cephalometric images will be sent to the referring dentist via e-mail. Please remember to include the relevant e-mail address with your referral letter. CT images will be sent to the referring dentist on a CD, together with viewing software to allow optimum viewing of 3D images. Dentists requiring Dicom data for Simplant or NobelGuide should discuss their requirements with Tony Auger.
