Dental Treatments - Tooth Whitening

Healthy teeth often get darker with age or stains when consuming certain foods such as coffee and red wine or even whilst smoking. This can be treated with a tooth whitening procedure which is safe and efficient.

There are two types of Tooth Whitening Procedures:

1) Power Whitening

This treatment is quick (around one hour) and is performed by a dentist. This will bring your teeth to their ultimate natural whiteness. Keep in mind that if you want the “Hollywood” white smile you may rather consider porcelain veneers. For optimum results we do recommend patients to use custom whitening trays to supplement the power whitening. These trays can also be used to maintain whiteness over many years.

2) Home Tooth Whitening.

This procedure is performed at home, for an average of 10 -14 days with the aid of tooth whitening trays and gel. You get the same end result with both procedures but the home whitening takes longer and some patients find it inconvenient.
